Hello from Bangkok!
| Pulling into Bangkok |
It's been two weeks already since I joined the Logos Hope. There is so much to do and see all the time. As I type this I am also running sound during a Thai ladies conference. It's kind of awkward for me being a male sound guy but I think I feel less awkward than the local guys who have showed up at a ladies event...
One of my favourite things I've seen so far was during a prayer night. A pastor from a large Thai church was visiting and leading the event. His English was quite good. He had a lot for us to pray about. This pastor would read through his points quite quickly, and then say "okay? Pray!" He Immediately proceeded to pray out loud in front of the microphone. His prayers were very brief and to the point and by the time he finished he expected everyone else to have as well. He was such fun to have up the front and I really enjoyed this prayer night. We even finished on time!

All his points were very good so if you know Christ, please pray for:
- Pastor Minit and his church
- OM Thailand
- Our work during our time here in Thailand- That people would come to know Christ's love for us
- An huge event that will happen on Friday called International Night
- Pray especially that the AV side of I-night would go smoothly
We have had literally thousands of people come through the experience deck (the book fair, cafe and exhibits). The book fair staff are finishing somewhere between 11pm and 1am. Please pray for energy for them.

I am enjoying my work in AV. The hours we work are all over the place but it's getting easier now that I am starting to understand the system. This Wednesday the Aussies are gathering! Depending on how you count there are either 13 or 21 of us.
For me please pray:
- That I would continue to settle in well
- Thank God for safe travels for all of us
- Thank God that I was able to get a pillow. The Ship's ones are.. well used
- Pray that I would get good rest
- Pray that we would be able to get a good Internet connection in Hong Kong so that it's easier to keep you updated!
