PST Sihanoukville Part 1

Hello from Sihanoukville!

After the GO conference all 34 of us who were headed to the ship caught the bus at 6:30am to catch long haul flight SQ25 with Singapore Airlines to Phnom Penh. We stopped over in Singapore Changi Airport and ran from the terminal we arrived in to the one our next flight departed from. We had 50 minutes. We didn't quite make it. The benefit of travelling in such a large group is that planes wait for you.

After touch down in Cambodia I realised I didn't have the passport photo I needed for my visa application with me. Later I discovered that I had placed them safely in my passport bag where I couldn't lose them. Things worked out however and it only cost me an extra 4 Singapore dollars (rip off).

6 hours of bus travel later we made it to our hotel in Sihanoukville! The amount of rubbish lying along the road is staggering. We were all exhausted, but there safely. Over the next few hours 13 more people who didn't attend the GO conference joined us.

We have had very intense teaching from 7 leaders over the last week. Together we packed 3000 bags of school supplies being donated here. If you're interested here is our schedule:
